Growing up on the central coast, I have lived in beautiful Nevada County since 1996. In addition to a variety of woodworking types/styles, and since making my first cut on a table saw at age 11, I’ve had many interests such as wine making, silver and copper jewelry making, oil painting, prospecting, golf, and restoring a ‘64 Chevy pickup.

For my wood crafts, I use a variety of colorful hardwoods such as Maple, Walnut, Purple Heart, Wenge, Cherry, Paduk, Bloodwood, and Canarywood. (Manzanita is my favorite wood, but can be challenging to work with for certain projects) Examples of wood crafts would be cutting boards, trays, display stands, bowls, spoons, etc. All food contact wood crafts are finished with food grade glue, food grade mineral oil and/or beeswax.
