Brad Carter has been living and creating ceramic art in Grass Valley and Nevada City for the past 20 years. His life-long interests in art and biology lead him to to the Philadelphia College of Art in his youth, followed by a career in horticulture at several botanical gardens in California and Florida. Brad uses locally mined and manufactured clay to produce functional ceramics for indoor use, as well as garden sculpture for use outdoors.
